Part Inspection - Analysis
Our inspection service takes on two facets. We can supply you with a full inspection report from our CMM machine or providing a full 3D inspection report using 3D scan data as the reference.
We have a state of the art portable CMM (co-ordinate measuring machine) machine. This uses photogrammetry as its basis for volumetric accuracy. This piece of equipment is not hindered in its use by articulated arms. We are able to work completely freely in virtually any environment , accurately capturing the data from any item whatever the size. Application. This is perfect for inspecting items that are too large to be moved (even to a reference table). For instance large press tools or moulds for marine hulls.
Alternatively to CMM inspection we can offer a full 3D inspection / comparison cheque. Again this service is totally portable. We scan your item in situ and perform one off inspection cheques or provide a full comparison to a nominal design (cad model) supplied by the client
